Kevin James returns to interpret Paul Blart, the security guard who this time goes to Las Vegas to attend an exhibition on his work and will take to take his daughter Maya to spend time together before she goes to study outside. While at the convention, Paul unwittingly discovers that a robbery is taking place, so as a good hero, he must stop the criminals. Paul Blart is back and better than ever after 6 years of upholding and protecting the public citizens of his local mall in West Orange, NJ. His wife of 6 days leaves him and he loses his Mom unexpectedly, then Paul receives a letter that invites him and his daughter out to Las Vegas for a security convention for the elite mall cops, he is pulled into action to save his kidnapped daughter from art thieves at the Wynn Hotel and resort. its not the worst movie I have seen in my life, but it nearly is, comedy its not, very few comedy scenes ,I thought it would never be over, who wrote this crap, poor acting ability by all actors, they just say the lines, main actor is just not funny,who said fat guys are funny they should have added more laugh tracks in so we would know when to laugh, if there's one movie to miss in your life,this is it it rates in my top worst movies of all time mall guard goes to convention<br/><br/>it looks like wyanns casino paid for placement in the movie I wonder was that a good thing the staff were rude and inept and security was bad First of all, I loved the first movie. It is what I consider to be a "guilty pleasure" movie and it's in no way award winning material. Kevin James is one of my family's favorite comedians so we were really excited when it was announced that a second Blart movie was going to be released. However, when I saw the commercials, it looked like a dreadful spin on the first movie and I decided to wait until the movie came out on video before I watched it. When we finally watched it, it was a disappointment. They killed off several of the characters from the first movie and inserted some goofy villains instead. Blart's daughter is ridiculous and hormonal. The plot is horrendous and the story does not make any sense. The first movie made sense because it could actually happen. I wish they never made this movie. Kevin James should be ashamed that he took part in such a desecration. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 does all it was created to do: exist.
